On Machine Carburetor Cleaning Empty old gasoline from tank & carburetor, dispose of properly. Pour 4 oz of Mechanic In A Bottle (MIB) into the fuel tank and prime into the carburetor. Place the choke in the on position and turn the engine over 3-4 revolutions to be sure the MIB is in all the circuits of the carburetor. Wait a few hours for poor running machines or let stand over night or longer depending on the severity of varnish build up. Repeat if necessary. Drain MIB from the fuel system completely, refill with fresh gasoline and mix with MIB as recommended below. 2 Cycle: 1oz per 1 gallon of mixed gasoline & oil Note: Only run 1 tank of fuel mixed with MIB on hand held and push mowers or up to 1 gallon on larger machines. Occasionally adding MIB to fuel is acceptable at a 1 oz to five gallon ratio but not recommended to be used all the time, Ethanol Shield recommended for preventive maintenance. |

We had a lawn mower sitting in the shed that wouldnt start. We added the mechanic in the bottle...primed it and it started right up. No more black smoke or hard starts. We were also going to have our mopeds carbs and exhaust cleaned at 100.00 each. One treatment added fuel efficiency, more mph and cleared up the sticky carbs and carbon from the exhaust. Amazing
